About the Role
What if your love of reading and your instinct for great writing could directly shape the future of AI? We're looking for Creative Writing Evaluators to assess AI-generated stories, essays, poetry, and more — helping cutting-edge AI systems learn what truly compelling writing looks and feels like.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to avid readers, writers, editors, and anyone with a sharp eye for quality prose. No publishing credits or formal credentials required — just a genuine passion for the written word.

What You'll Do
- Read and evaluate AI-generated creative writing across genres — fiction, poetry, personal essays, satire, and more
- Assess writing quality across key dimensions: style, voice, coherence, tone, originality, and reader engagement
- Identify weaknesses such as clichés, unnatural phrasing, logical inconsistencies, or flat characterization
- Provide clear, constructive written feedback that helps AI systems produce more human, compelling writing
- Complete structured evaluation tasks independently on your own schedule
Who You Are
- A genuine lover of reading and writing across a range of styles and genres
- Able to articulate why writing works — or doesn't — with clarity and precision
- Strong command of English language, grammar, and literary style
- Comfortable working through substantial volumes of text with focus and consistency
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated when working independently
- No published writing credits or formal literary training required
Nice to Have
- Background in creative writing, English literature, journalism, or editing
- Experience workshopping or critiquing others' writing
- Familiarity with multiple genres or literary traditions
- Prior experience with AI tools or content evaluation platforms
