About the Role

We're looking for Indonesian language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on Indonesian-language content. Your linguistic insight will directly shape how AI understands, generates, and communicates in Indonesian — making a real impact on one of the world's most widely spoken languages.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role that fits around your existing schedule. No prior AI experience is needed — just a strong command of Indonesian and a sharp eye for quality.

What You'll Do

  • Review AI-generated Indonesian translations and original content for accuracy and naturalness
  • Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches, or cultural issues
  • Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate Indonesian
  • Provide structured feedback on linguistic and cultural quality
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Native or near-native fluency in Indonesian
  • Strong written communication skills in Indonesian
  • Solid command of contemporary Indonesian usage across different contexts and registers
  • Comfortable evaluating written language quality at scale
  • Detail-oriented with a consistent, methodical approach
  • No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

  • Experience in translation, localization, editing, or linguistics
  • Familiarity with AI or language evaluation workflows
  • Knowledge of regional Indonesian language variations or dialects
  • Background in journalism, education, or communications
