About the Role

What if your sense of fairness could directly shape how AI behaves — for millions of people? We're looking for AI Ethics Reviewers to evaluate AI-generated content for bias, safety issues, and ethical concerns. Your judgment helps ensure AI systems are responsible, inclusive, and trustworthy.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong critical thinking and a genuine interest in fairness. No formal ethics or AI background required.

What You'll Do

  • Review AI-generated content and outputs for bias, stereotypes, or potentially harmful material
  • Evaluate whether AI responses are safe, fair, and appropriate for diverse audiences
  • Identify ethical concerns and provide clear, structured written feedback
  • Apply fairness and safety guidelines consistently across a wide range of topics and content types
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Genuinely interested in fairness, ethics, social impact, or responsible technology
  • Strong critical thinker — able to see issues from multiple perspectives
  • Attuned to nuance, context, and cultural sensitivity
  • Clear and precise written communicator
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and consistent in your evaluations
  • No formal ethics, AI, or academic background required

Nice to Have

  • Experience in social science, journalism, policy, education, or community advocacy
  • Familiarity with AI tools or content moderation workflows
  • Background in diversity, equity, and inclusion work
