About the Role

We're looking for a Social Insights Analyst to transform raw social listening data into clear, actionable recommendations that guide content teams and sharpen audience targeting across the media, advertising, and entertainment space.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for analytical thinkers who understand the social landscape and know how to translate numbers and trends into stories that drive real decisions.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and analyze social listening data across platforms to surface meaningful trends, patterns, and audience behaviors
- Translate complex data sets into clear, concise, and actionable insights for content and campaign teams
- Support content strategy by identifying what resonates with target audiences and why
- Provide recommendations to improve audience targeting and content performance
- Build and deliver insight reports with structured findings and strategic implications
- Collaborate asynchronously with cross-functional teams including creative, media, and strategy
- Track shifts in audience sentiment, conversation themes, and competitive activity
Who You Are
- Experienced in social media analytics, social listening, or digital insights — ideally within media, advertising, or entertainment
- Comfortable working with social listening platforms such as Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, or similar tools
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize data into compelling narratives
- Skilled at communicating insights clearly to both data-savvy and non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, self-directed, and reliable when working independently in a remote environment
- Familiar with audience segmentation, content performance metrics, and campaign analytics
Nice to Have
- Background in media planning, entertainment marketing, or digital advertising
- Experience with data visualization tools or dashboarding platforms
- Understanding of platform-specific dynamics across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and emerging channels
- Familiarity with influencer analytics or creator economy trends
