About the Role
What if your Scottish accent could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people? We're working with leading AI research teams to capture authentic, natural human speech — and we need professional voice actors with genuine Scottish accents to make it happen.
This is a paid contract role involving a small number of in-person studio recording sessions. Your voice won't be cloned — this is about helping AI learn how real Scottish English sounds in natural conversation.

What You'll Do
- Record natural, conversational Scottish English speech in a professional studio environment
- Participate in solo recording sessions and paired dialogue conversations
- Deliver realistic, unscripted-sounding speech across a variety of tones and contexts
- Follow light direction to adjust pacing, tone, and delivery style
- Bring authenticity — the goal is natural human speech, not performance polish
Who You Are
- A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with a genuine Scottish accent
- Native or near-native Scottish English speaker currently based in Scotland
- Comfortable in a studio environment and receptive to creative direction
- Reliable, professional, and easy to work with
- Able to commit to a small number of scheduled in-person sessions
Nice to Have
- Background in acting, performance, or broadcast
- Prior experience with podcast, commercial, or studio recording
- Familiarity with dialogue-based or conversational recording formats
