About the Role
What if your German voice could directly shape how AI speaks with millions of people around the world? We're looking for skilled German-speaking voice actors to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping next-generation AI systems sound natural, expressive, and authentically human.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just a strong German voice, professional delivery, and a sharp ear for quality. This role does not involve voice cloning.

What You'll Do
- Record clear, high-fidelity German audio using provided scripts and prompts
- Evaluate AI-generated speech for naturalness, accuracy, tone, and expressiveness
- Provide structured, constructive feedback to improve synthesized voice quality
- Review and refine scripts as needed to ensure they sound natural and are easy to deliver
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Full fluency in spoken German — native or near-native speakers strongly preferred
- Prior experience in voice acting, narration, audiobooks, dubbing, or comparable audio work
- Access to professional recording equipment and a quiet, controlled recording environment
- Able to deliver consistently engaging, expressive, and well-articulated performances
- Sharp ear for pronunciation, tone, pacing, and overall audio clarity
- Detail-oriented and consistent in your approach to evaluation tasks
Nice to Have
- Experience recording for commercial, broadcast, e-learning, or gaming projects
- Familiarity with audio editing tools or digital audio workstations (DAWs)
- Background in linguistics, communications, or a language-focused field
- Prior exposure to AI tools or voice evaluation workflows
- Knowledge of regional German dialects or pronunciation variation
