About the Role
What if the way you make your morning coffee, fold laundry, or open a cabinet door could help teach the next generation of AI-powered robots? We're looking for Robotics Technicians to capture real-world human movement and interaction on video — giving robots the visual data they need to understand and navigate everyday life.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with a smartphone and a willingness to follow clear recording guidelines. No robotics knowledge, technical background, or prior experience required.

What You'll Do
- Record video of yourself performing everyday household or workplace tasks — from cooking and cleaning to organizing and opening doors
- Follow clear, structured guidelines on camera angles, task sequences, and recording quality
- Capture natural interactions with common objects, surfaces, and environments
- Upload completed recordings and fill out simple metadata forms to label your submissions
- Maintain consistency and quality across multiple recording sessions
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Access to a smartphone or camera capable of recording standard-quality video
- Comfortable following detailed written instructions with care and consistency
- Willing to record in your home, workspace, or other everyday environments
- Reliable internet connection for uploading video files
- Self-motivated and dependable when working independently
- No robotics, AI, or technical background required — if you can make a cup of tea, you're qualified
Nice to Have
- Experience with video recording, content creation, or media production
- Familiarity with file management and basic digital workflows
- A varied home or workspace environment with diverse objects and surfaces
