About the Role
What if your sharp eye for visual detail could directly shape how AI understands the world through video? We're looking for Video Annotation Specialists to segment, label, and describe video content that trains the next generation of AI models — helping machines learn to interpret everything from camera angles to on-screen action.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with a keen visual sense and a methodical approach to work. No professional video or AI experience required — just attention to detail and a consistent work ethic.

What You'll Do
- Segment video content into individual shots and scenes with precision
- Annotate key visual elements including camera angle, shot size, movement, and on-screen action
- Apply structured labels and tags using predefined category systems
- Flag ambiguous transitions, unclear shots, or content that falls outside guidelines
- Maintain high accuracy and consistency across high-volume annotation workflows
- Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Strong visual attention — you notice subtle differences others might miss
- Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, methodical approach to repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working in web-based labeling tools or spreadsheets
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- An interest in video, film, or visual media is a plus
- No professional video production or AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Background in film, media studies, photography, or visual arts
- Experience with data entry, quality assurance, or content moderation
- Familiarity with annotation platforms or digital labeling tools
- Prior exposure to AI training workflows or content classification
