About the Role
What if your daily routine — making coffee, organizing a shelf, opening a door — could teach the next generation of robots how to interact with the real world? We're looking for Robotics Technicians to capture everyday human actions on video, creating the critical training data that helps AI-powered robots learn to navigate and operate in real environments.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with a smartphone or camera and a willingness to follow clear recording guidelines. No robotics, engineering, or AI background required — just consistency, attention to detail, and a reliable internet connection.

What You'll Do
- Record yourself performing everyday household or workplace tasks — from folding laundry to picking up objects — using a smartphone or camera
- Follow detailed recording guidelines covering camera angles, lighting, and task sequences to ensure high-quality, usable footage
- Capture natural interactions with common objects, surfaces, and environments that robots need to learn from
- Upload completed recordings and fill out simple metadata forms to document each session
- Maintain consistency and quality standards across multiple recording sessions
- Work independently on your own schedule — fully asynchronous
Who You Are
- Access to a smartphone or camera capable of recording video
- Comfortable following detailed instructions precisely and consistently
- Willing to record tasks in your home or personal workspace
- Reliable internet connection for uploading video files
- Self-motivated and dependable when working independently
- No technical, robotics, or AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with video recording, content creation, or photography
- Familiarity with file organization or basic digital workflows
- A tidy, well-lit home or workspace with a variety of everyday objects
