About the Role
What if your Welsh voice could directly influence how AI understands and communicates with millions of people? We're partnering with leading AI research teams to improve how AI systems recognise and process natural human speech — and we need authentic Welsh voices to make it happen.
This is a paid contract role involving a small number of in-person studio recording sessions. No voice cloning. No synthetic reproduction. Just real, natural speech from a genuine Welsh voice — recorded professionally and used to make AI smarter.

What You'll Do
- Record natural, conversational Welsh-accented English speech in a professional studio environment
- Participate in single-speaker sessions and paired dialogue conversations
- Deliver realistic, human-sounding speech — natural and unscripted in feel
- Take light direction on tone, pacing, and delivery to capture a range of speech styles
- Bring your authentic Welsh accent to every session
Who You Are
- A native or near-native Welsh English speaker with an authentic regional accent
- Experienced in voice acting, voice-over work, or professional audio recording
- Comfortable performing natural-sounding dialogue and conversation
- Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction in a studio setting
- Currently based in Wales
Nice to Have
- Background in acting, performance, or broadcast
- Experience with podcast production or prior studio recording work
- Comfort with both solo performance and paired conversational formats
