About the Role

What if your deep expertise in cancer clinical trials could directly shape how AI understands and reasons about oncology — influencing the next generation of tools used by researchers, clinicians, and drug developers worldwide?

We're looking for experienced Oncology Clinical Researchers to bring real-world rigor to cutting-edge AI development. You'll evaluate, guide, and validate AI-generated oncology content — ensuring it reflects the standards you've spent your career mastering: regulatory compliance, scientific accuracy, and clinical relevance.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just deep oncology expertise and a sharp eye for quality.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract

  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated oncology content for clinical accuracy, scientific soundness, and regulatory alignment
  • Apply your expertise in clinical trial design — including protocol development, patient enrollment strategies, and endpoint selection — to assess and improve AI outputs
  • Analyze AI-generated interpretations of cancer trial data, including safety profiles, efficacy results, and biomarker findings
  • Evaluate AI-produced regulatory and scientific content against FDA, EMA, and ICH standards
  • Provide structured, expert feedback that directly shapes how AI models understand and reason about oncology data
  • Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Experienced in designing and managing oncology clinical trials from protocol development through data readout
  • Strong background in analyzing oncology clinical data, including primary and secondary endpoints, safety reporting, and biomarker evaluation
  • Solid familiarity with regulatory submission standards for agencies such as the FDA or EMA
  • Detail-oriented and methodical — you catch what others miss and can articulate why it matters
  • Comfortable working independently and delivering high-quality written feedback
  • No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI-assisted research tools
  • Background in oncology drug development, translational research, or medical writing
  • Familiarity with clinical trial management systems or regulatory dossier preparation
  • Experience spanning multiple cancer types or trial phases (Phase I–III)

Why Join Us

  • Work directly on frontier AI systems transforming how the world approaches cancer research
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, expert-level work
  • Influence how AI models reason about real oncology data — a genuinely novel contribution to your field
