$20-120/hrRemoteFreelanceCODING

About the Role

We're looking for experienced Go (Golang) developers to help train and evaluate the next generation of AI coding models. Your expertise will directly influence how AI understands, writes, and reasons about Go — making a measurable impact on the tools used by top research labs and engineering teams worldwide.

  • Organization: Labelbox
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: Flexible — work on your own schedule

What You'll Do

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated Go code for correctness, efficiency, and idiomatic style
  • Write clean, performant Go solutions for real-world systems and backend problems
  • Create and refine coding challenges that rigorously test AI model capabilities
  • Explain your reasoning, evaluation criteria, and problem-solving approach in structured feedback
  • Work independently and asynchronously across task-based assignments

Who You Are

  • Proficient in Go (Golang) with strong command of goroutines, channels, concurrency patterns, and package organization
  • Experienced in backend development, distributed systems, or systems programming
  • Able to assess code quality across dimensions of correctness, performance, and maintainability
  • Clear and precise communicator — you can articulate why code is good or bad
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working without close supervision

Nice to Have

  • 3+ years of professional experience using Go in production environments
  • Background in distributed systems, microservices, or systems-level programming
  • Familiarity with data labeling, RLHF, or AI model evaluation workflows
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects that are shaping the future of software development
  • Fully remote and async — work from anywhere on a schedule that fits your life
  • Freelance autonomy with clear, well-defined tasks and ownership
  • High-impact work: your contributions directly improve AI models used by leading labs and Fortune 500 teams
  • Potential for ongoing work and expanded responsibilities for top performers
