About the Role
We're looking for physics experts to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models being developed by the world's leading AI research labs. Your deep understanding of physics will directly shape how AI reasons through complex scientific problems — from undergraduate fundamentals to graduate-level challenges.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for physics professionals and graduate students who want to contribute to meaningful, frontier AI work on their own schedule.

What You'll Do
- Design rigorous, original physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions that demonstrate precise logical reasoning
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning
- Identify gaps, errors, and weaknesses in how AI models approach physics problems
- Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level topics
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
- Strong problem-solving ability across multiple advanced physics domains
- Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
- Detail-oriented with a structured approach to evaluation and feedback
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or academic assessment
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts
- Background in research, tutoring, or technical writing
