About the Role
What if your years of chemistry training could directly shape how AI reasons through the most complex scientific problems in the world? We're looking for Chemistry experts — Masters and PhD holders — to help build and evaluate the next generation of AI models by designing rigorous, real-world chemistry problems that push the boundaries of machine intelligence.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just deep expertise in chemistry and a commitment to scientific rigor.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and review advanced chemistry problems with real-world relevance and scientific depth
- Apply your expertise in organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry to design complex, meaningful problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated chemistry reasoning for accuracy, clarity, and scientific soundness
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to improve model performance
- Ensure every deliverable meets the highest standards of scientific rigor and clarity
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
