About the Role

Your public health expertise is more valuable than ever — and not just in traditional settings. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to build AI models that are accurate, evidence-based, and safe. We're looking for Masters in Public Health (MPH) professionals to help us get health right.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your knowledge of epidemiology, biostatistics, health equity, and policy directly shapes how millions of people will receive health information from AI systems.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design Complex Public Health Scenarios — Create advanced, realistic challenges involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, and statistical interpretation of clinical trials to stress-test AI reasoning.
  • Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step responses that synthesize peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and current guidelines from authoritative sources like the CDC and WHO.
  • Audit AI Health Content — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for factual accuracy, bias, and adherence to ethical standards. Identify misinformation and logical gaps in the AI's reasoning.
  • Refine AI Reasoning — Provide structured feedback to help AI models distinguish between correlation and causation, and improve how they communicate health risks to diverse populations.

Who You Are

  • Holds a Masters in Public Health (MPH), MSPH, or closely related graduate degree
  • Strong foundational knowledge in at least two core areas: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy
  • Able to translate complex health data into clear, culturally sensitive, and actionable written content
  • High attention to detail when evaluating statistical significance, data citations, and health intervention logic
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
  • No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, quality assurance, or evaluation workflows
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
  • Background in health communication, clinical research coordination, or public health surveillance
