About the Role

We're looking for experienced GRC professionals to help build and evaluate AI systems that reason about security, compliance, and risk. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research teams to create high-quality training and evaluation data — and we need practitioners who know how compliance and risk management actually work inside real organizations.

Your expertise will directly shape how AI understands and reasons about security policies, audit processes, control frameworks, and regulatory requirements. This is a unique opportunity to apply your GRC knowledge in a cutting-edge AI context, on your own schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures for accuracy and completeness
  • Evaluate and classify compliance scenarios across frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST
  • Assess risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style documentation
  • Generate and validate training and evaluation data used to improve AI reasoning in GRC domains
  • Provide structured, precise written feedback on complex compliance and risk scenarios

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management
  • Familiar with one or more major frameworks: SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, or similar
  • Comfortable reading, interpreting, and critically evaluating policy and audit documentation
  • Detail-oriented with strong written reasoning skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in an asynchronous environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
  • Background in information security, internal audit, or third-party risk management
  • Familiarity with GRC tools or platforms
