About the Role

What if your deep expertise in clinical analytics and healthcare data could directly shape how AI understands and reasons about some of the most complex, high-stakes information in the world? We're looking for an experienced Clinical Business Intelligence Manager to lead analytics projects that translate healthcare data into meaningful insights — and in doing so, help train the next generation of AI systems to think more clearly about clinical and operational realities.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for experienced healthcare data professionals who want to do meaningful, high-impact work on their own terms.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a business intelligence team in designing and delivering dashboards, reports, and analytics that support clinical and operational decision-making
  • Maintain and optimize BI infrastructure — including data models, SQL queries, and reporting pipelines — ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance
  • Analyze clinical, operational, and performance datasets to surface trends, support leadership decisions, and improve care delivery efficiency
  • Translate complex healthcare data into clear, trusted insights that non-technical stakeholders can act on
  • Apply your domain expertise to evaluate and improve AI-generated outputs related to clinical data, analytics workflows, and healthcare systems

Who You Are

  • Experienced in healthcare or clinical analytics, business intelligence, or health data management
  • Proven track record designing and managing BI systems — dashboards, reporting pipelines, and data models — in real-world healthcare environments
  • Comfortable working with clinical, operational, and administrative datasets in regulated settings
  • Strong communicator who can bridge the gap between complex data and clear decisions
  • Self-directed and reliable — you deliver quality work without needing to be hand-held

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
  • Familiarity with clinical coding systems, EHR platforms, or population health tools
  • Background in healthcare informatics, epidemiology, or health systems research
  • Experience working with or evaluating large language models (LLMs)

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading AI research labs
  • Fully remote and flexible — structure your hours around your life
  • Freelance autonomy with the depth and variety of meaningful, expert-level work
  • Direct exposure to how advanced LLMs are trained and evaluated using real-world domain knowledge
  • Contribute to AI development that could ultimately improve how healthcare data is understood at scale
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
