About the Role

We're looking for Mathematics Experts to help build and train cutting-edge AI models — designing complex problems, stress-testing AI reasoning, and ensuring mathematical accuracy at the frontier of technology.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for serious mathematicians. If you hold a Master's or PhD and want to put your expertise to meaningful, well-compensated use, this is the opportunity.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, solve, and critically review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance
  • Apply your expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related fields to design rigorous, complex problem sets
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to strengthen AI model reasoning
  • Evaluate and improve the mathematical accuracy, clarity, and depth of AI-generated outputs
  • Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Hold a Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
  • Deep expertise in one or more of: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics
  • Comfortable coding in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or applied problem-solving
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong written communication skills in English
  • Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without close supervision

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
  • Background in applied mathematics, mathematical modeling, or computational research
  • Experience writing or reviewing technical mathematical content for academic or professional audiences
  • Familiarity with AI tools or evaluation platforms as an end user
