About the Role
What if your eye for cinematography, mood, and narrative could directly shape how AI sees and recreates the visual world? We're looking for Visual Storytelling Prompt Writers to watch video clips and translate what they see into rich, structured prompts — capturing everything from camera angles and lighting to character emotion and scene atmosphere.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No professional filmmaking or AI background required — just a genuine passion for visual storytelling and a talent for putting what you see into precise, evocative words.

What You'll Do
- Watch video clips and craft structured prompts that capture the essence of each scene
- Describe characters, settings, camera perspectives, lighting, and mood with precision
- Balance technical cinematographic detail with narrative context and emotional tone
- Produce multiple prompt variants to cover different interpretations of the same scene
- Follow established style guides for wording, specificity, and point of view
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- A natural visual thinker — you notice framing, atmosphere, and storytelling instinctively
- Strong writer with the ability to describe what you see without relying on dialogue or audio
- Detail-oriented and consistent when working within structured guidelines
- Comfortable switching between creative description and technical shot analysis
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- No professional experience in film, writing, or AI required
Nice to Have
- Background in film, photography, screenwriting, creative writing, or visual arts
- Familiarity with cinematography concepts — shot types, camera movement, lighting styles
- Experience with AI image or video generation tools
- Prior prompt writing or content annotation experience
