We're looking for economists with public policy experience to help shape how AI understands, reasons about, and communicates complex economic and policy topics. Your expertise will directly influence the quality and rigor of AI systems being developed by leading research labs — making a real-world impact from the comfort of your own schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated public policy and applied economics content for accuracy, rigor, and real-world relevance
  • Assess economic reasoning across topics such as regulation, welfare policy, public programs, and fiscal tradeoffs
  • Provide structured, detailed feedback to improve the clarity and analytical quality of AI outputs
  • Validate economic scenarios, conclusions, and policy recommendations using your applied expertise
  • Work independently and asynchronously — on your own time, at your own pace

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience working or teaching in public economics, applied economics, or a related policy field
  • Strong grasp of policy analysis frameworks and economic tradeoffs
  • Able to critically evaluate written economic arguments and provide actionable written feedback
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working in a remote, asynchronous environment

Nice to Have

  • Graduate degree in Economics, Public Policy, or a related discipline
  • Background in government, think tanks, academic research, or policy consulting
  • Familiarity with AI systems, content evaluation, or data annotation workflows
