What You'll Do
- Listen to audio recordings and evaluate them for clarity, accuracy, and overall quality
- Identify issues such as background noise, distortion, mispronunciations, or recording artifacts
- Verify that transcriptions accurately match spoken audio content
- Rate recordings using structured evaluation criteria and rubrics
- Provide clear, consistent written feedback on each audio sample
- Work through batches of audio independently and at your own pace

- A keen listener with the ability to detect subtle differences in audio quality
- Detail-oriented and consistent — you apply the same standard across every recording
- Reliable and self-motivated, comfortable working asynchronously
- Able to follow structured evaluation guidelines with precision
- Access to headphones or earbuds for accurate audio playback
- No audio engineering or professional sound experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with transcription, podcast production, or audio editing
- Familiarity with quality assurance or content review workflows
- Background in music, broadcasting, linguistics, or related fields
