As a Population Health Informaticist, you'll apply your expertise in health data, analytics, and public health strategy to evaluate and improve AI models that work with population-level information. Your domain knowledge will directly shape how AI understands health trends, disparities, and outcomes across communities.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role — work on your schedule, on projects that matter.

What You'll Do
- Evaluate AI-generated population health content, analysis, and insights for accuracy, completeness, and real-world applicability
- Review and assess data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting frameworks modeled by AI for quality and soundness
- Identify gaps, errors, or misleading interpretations in AI outputs related to population health metrics and surveillance
- Provide structured expert feedback that helps AI systems better understand health disparities, community-level trends, and intervention strategies
- Translate your domain knowledge into clear, actionable evaluations that improve AI model performance in public health contexts
Who You Are
- Experienced working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets
- Strong analytical thinker with the ability to evaluate data quality, methodology, and interpretation
- Skilled in data visualization and reporting — familiar with dashboards and analytics tools
- Able to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on asynchronous tasks
- No prior AI or machine learning experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with epidemiology, health equity research, or community health programs
- Background in data annotation, quality assurance, or evaluation systems
- Familiarity with public health surveillance frameworks or clinical data standards (e.g., ICD codes, HL7, FHIR)
