As a Population Health Informaticist at Alignerr, you'll apply your expertise in health data and analytics to evaluate, improve, and inform AI systems that touch public health at scale. Your work will directly influence how AI understands population-level health trends, disparities, and interventions.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for experienced health informaticists, epidemiologists, and public health data professionals who want to do meaningful work on their own schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate AI-generated health analytics, models, and outputs for accuracy, relevance, and soundness
  • Apply your knowledge of population health metrics to assess how well AI identifies trends, disparities, and intervention opportunities
  • Review and provide structured feedback on dashboards, data pipelines, and public health reporting frameworks produced or assisted by AI
  • Help AI systems better translate complex health data into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of AI tools that support population health surveillance and decision-making

Who You Are

  • Experienced in working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets
  • Strong analytical thinker with hands-on experience in health data and visualization tools
  • Able to identify errors, gaps, or misleading patterns in health data outputs
  • Skilled at translating complex data into clear, stakeholder-ready insights
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently

Nice to Have

  • Background in epidemiology, biostatistics, or health informatics
  • Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or review systems
  • Familiarity with AI or machine learning workflows in a health context
  • Prior work with public health agencies, health systems, or research institutions
