We're looking for experienced Hospital Health Data Governance Leads to help evaluate, refine, and improve AI systems trained on healthcare data. Your deep knowledge of clinical data operations, compliance frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration will ensure that AI models reflect the rigor, accuracy, and trustworthiness that healthcare demands.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for seasoned healthcare data professionals. No prior AI background required — just a strong command of hospital data governance and a sharp eye for quality.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate AI-generated healthcare data outputs for accuracy, consistency, compliance, and clinical appropriateness
  • Apply your expertise in governance frameworks to assess whether AI models reflect real-world hospital data standards
  • Identify gaps, errors, and risks in how AI handles sensitive health information — from EHR data to operational reporting
  • Provide structured, expert feedback on data quality, privacy considerations, and regulatory alignment
  • Draw on your experience working across clinical, IT, and compliance teams to assess cross-functional data workflows
  • Complete task-based assignments independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Experienced in healthcare data governance, clinical data management, or health information operations
  • Strong working knowledge of healthcare privacy and compliance frameworks, including HIPAA
  • Skilled at evaluating data quality and identifying inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or compliance risks
  • Comfortable navigating the intersection of clinical, technical, and administrative data environments
  • Detail-oriented and methodical — you bring rigor and precision to every evaluation
  • No prior AI or machine learning experience required

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or evaluation systems
  • Familiarity with EHR platforms, clinical data warehouses, or health analytics tools
  • Background in healthcare compliance, health information management (HIM), or clinical informatics
  • Understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks such as CMS, Joint Commission, or state health data requirements
