About the Role

We're looking for physics Masters graduates and current students to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. Your expertise in advanced physics will directly shape how AI systems reason through complex scientific problems — making a real, measurable impact on the future of artificial intelligence.

This is a fully remote contract role with flexible hours. No AI experience required — just a strong command of physics and a sharp analytical mind.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design challenging, graduate-level physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more
  • Develop clear, rigorous step-by-step solutions that demonstrate expert reasoning
  • Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, logical structure, and depth of understanding
  • Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level physics topics
  • Provide structured, high-quality feedback that helps AI systems reason more like expert physicists

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
  • Strong problem-solving skills across multiple advanced physics domains
  • Able to communicate complex concepts clearly and precisely in writing
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
  • No prior AI or data annotation experience required

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or academic research
  • Familiarity with AI language models or scientific benchmarking
  • Background in computational physics, mathematical physics, or engineering physics

Why Join Us
