This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong listening skills and a keen eye for detail. No professional transcription experience required.

What You'll Do
- Transcribe audio recordings into accurate, well-formatted written text following clear guidelines
- Handle a variety of audio types — different accents, speaking speeds, and recording conditions
- Apply consistent formatting, punctuation, and speaker labeling conventions
- Flag unclear or ambiguous segments and note speaker changes where relevant
- Meet quality standards and turnaround targets across each batch of work
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- A strong, focused listener with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable typing quickly and accurately for extended periods
- Patient and methodical when working through challenging audio
- Able to follow detailed written guidelines consistently
- Reliable and self-motivated in a remote, task-based environment
- No prior transcription or AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with transcription software or audio playback tools
- Familiarity with different English accents or dialects
- Background in captioning, journalism, or content production
