About the Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI speaks with millions of German speakers around the world? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists to record high-quality German audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping frontier AI systems sound natural, expressive, and authentically human.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed — just a commanding voice, fluent German, and a quality recording setup.

What You'll Do
- Record high-quality voice samples in German from provided scripts and prompts
- Evaluate AI-generated voice outputs for naturalness, pronunciation, and expressiveness
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to improve AI-generated speech quality
- Review and refine scripts to ensure clarity and authentic, natural delivery
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Native or near-native German speaker with confident, expressive delivery
- Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or similar fields
- Owner of a high-quality microphone with access to a quiet, controlled recording environment
- Able to deliver clear, engaging, and consistent vocal performances
- Detail-oriented when assessing pronunciation, tone, pacing, and clarity
- No AI or tech background required
Nice to Have
- Experience across multiple vocal styles — commercial, character, documentary, or e-learning
- Familiarity with audio editing or recording software (DAWs, Audacity, Adobe Audition, etc.)
- Awareness of regional German accent variations — Austrian, Swiss, or High German
- Background in linguistics, broadcasting, or performing arts
