About the Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI speaks to millions of German speakers around the world? We're looking for experienced German-language voice actors to record professional audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping next-generation AI systems sound more natural, expressive, and authentically human.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed — just a trained voice, a professional setup, and a sharp ear for quality.

What You'll Do
- Record professional-grade German voice audio using a large diaphragm microphone, following provided scripts and prompts
- Evaluate AI-generated speech for natural flow, pronunciation accuracy, and emotional expression
- Provide detailed, actionable feedback to improve synthesized German voice outputs
- Review scripts and suggest adjustments to enhance clarity and ensure natural-sounding delivery
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Experienced voice actor, narrator, audiobook reader, or voice-over professional
- Native or near-native fluency in German with strong command of natural spoken delivery
- Owner of a large diaphragm microphone and access to a quiet, acoustically controlled recording space
- Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated vocal performances consistently
- Sharp ear for nuance — you notice subtle differences in tone, rhythm, and pronunciation
- No prior AI or tech experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience across multiple voice acting styles — commercial, narrative, character, corporate
- Familiarity with audio editing tools or DAW software
- Knowledge of regional German dialect variations — Standard German, Austrian, Swiss, or otherwise
- Background in linguistics, broadcasting, theatre, or audio production
