About the Role
What if your sense of fairness and critical thinking could directly shape how AI behaves for millions of people? We're looking for AI Ethics Reviewers to evaluate AI-generated content for bias, safety issues, and ethical concerns — helping build AI systems that are genuinely fair and responsible.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong critical thinking and a genuine interest in fairness and social impact. No formal ethics or AI background required.

What You'll Do
- Review AI-generated content for bias, stereotypes, harmful language, and ethical concerns
- Evaluate whether AI responses are safe and appropriate for diverse, real-world audiences
- Flag issues clearly and provide structured written feedback using evaluation guidelines
- Apply fairness and safety standards consistently across a wide range of topics and content types
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Genuinely interested in fairness, ethics, social impact, or responsible technology
- Strong critical thinker who can see issues from multiple perspectives
- Attuned to nuance, cultural context, and the ways language can cause harm
- Clear and articulate written communicator
- Detail-oriented and consistent in your evaluations
- No formal background in AI, ethics, or social science required
Nice to Have
- Experience in journalism, policy, social work, education, or advocacy
- Familiarity with concepts like algorithmic bias, content moderation, or AI safety
- Background in writing, research, or quality evaluation
