About the Role

We're looking for Prompt Writers to craft the questions, scenarios, and challenges that push AI models to their limits — helping make them smarter, safer, and more capable for millions of users.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong writing skills and an inventive mind. No technical background or prior AI experience required — just a love of language, ideas, and asking the right questions.

What You'll Do
- Design original, creative prompts across a wide variety of topics — from science and ethics to storytelling, logic, and everyday scenarios
- Craft questions and challenges specifically engineered to test AI reasoning, accuracy, and creativity
- Develop prompts that probe for edge cases, potential failures, and safety concerns
- Follow structured prompt-writing guidelines and style frameworks to ensure consistency and quality
- Iterate and refine prompts based on feedback from project leads
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Creative thinker with strong written communication skills in English
- Naturally curious — you enjoy exploring ideas across many different subjects
- Able to write clearly and precisely on a broad range of topics
- Comfortable working within structured guidelines while bringing your own originality
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated when working independently
- No technical, AI, or programming background required
Nice to Have
- Background in writing, journalism, education, research, or communications
- Experience with creative writing, instructional design, or content strategy
- Familiarity with AI tools or chatbots as an end user
- Broad general knowledge across multiple subject areas
