As an Application Security Analyst, you'll work with realistic security scenarios to help frontier AI models learn how to identify, assess, and prioritize application risk. Your hands-on expertise becomes the foundation for the next generation of AI-powered security reasoning.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze real-world application security scenarios spanning code, APIs, and system behavior
  • Classify and annotate vulnerabilities including authentication flaws, injection risks, access control issues, and business logic weaknesses
  • Evaluate secure coding practices and assess the quality of proposed remediation strategies
  • Distinguish genuine exploitability from theoretical or low-risk findings
  • Help create and validate security-focused reasoning datasets that teach AI how to assess application risk accurately and responsibly

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience in application security, product security, or software security roles
  • Solid working knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and common production vulnerabilities
  • Ability to think like an attacker — and communicate findings like a trusted advisor
  • Strong written communication skills with a structured, methodical approach to security reasoning
  • Comfortable working independently and asynchronously in a task-based environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience in penetration testing, secure code review, or bug bounty programs
  • Familiarity with threat modeling frameworks or vulnerability scoring systems (CVSS, DREAD)
  • Background working with web applications, mobile apps, or cloud-native environments
