About the Role
What if your years of clinical research expertise could directly influence how AI understands and evaluates medical evidence for millions of people worldwide? We're looking for a Principal Clinical Scientist to bring senior-level rigor to AI-driven research workflows — ensuring that the clinical reasoning embedded in next-generation AI systems meets the standards that matter most in real-world medicine.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for experienced clinical scientists who want to work at the frontier of biomedical AI without leaving their domain expertise behind.

- Interpret and audit clinical trial results, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with regulatory expectations (FDA, EMA, or equivalent)
- Evaluate AI-generated clinical analyses for scientific soundness and methodological rigor
- Provide expert, structured feedback that directly shapes how AI models reason about clinical trial data, outcomes, and evidence
- Flag gaps, errors, or inconsistencies in AI outputs from a senior clinical science perspective
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Senior-level experience designing clinical trial protocols for regulatory submission
- Deep expertise interpreting clinical data for major regulatory agencies (FDA, EMA, or equivalent)
- Strong grounding in clinical research methodology, biostatistics, or translational science
- Meticulous and rigorous — you hold AI-generated content to the same standards you'd apply in a real submission
- Clear, concise written communicator who can articulate expert feedback effectively
- Self-directed and reliable when working independently
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
- Familiarity with AI tools or clinical data platforms
