As an Incident Response Analyst, you'll apply your hands-on security operations experience to evaluate and improve AI models designed to detect threats, correlate alerts, and support digital investigations.

What You'll Do
- Analyze realistic security events, alerts, and incident cases to assess AI-generated investigative outputs
- Evaluate AI responses for accuracy in determining impact, root cause, and appropriate remediation steps
- Review detection rules, alerting pipelines, and investigative playbooks for real-world validity
- Identify gaps where AI analysis diverges from how experienced response teams actually operate
- Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves AI model performance in security contexts
- Work independently and asynchronously on a schedule that fits your life
Who You Are
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a SOC, incident response, or security operations role
- Solid working knowledge of SIEM platforms, alert queues, and investigation tooling
- Skilled at triaging signal from noise and identifying meaningful threats quickly
- Able to articulate your reasoning clearly in written form
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
Nice to Have
- Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or red/blue team operations
- Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or NIST IR
- Prior exposure to AI evaluation or data annotation workflows
