About the Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people around the world? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with authentic South African English accents to participate in paid studio recording sessions for a leading AI speech research project.
This is a contract role for experienced voice talent based in South Africa. Your recordings will help AI systems understand natural human speech more accurately — making a real, lasting impact on how technology listens and responds.

What You'll Do
- Record natural, conversational South African English speech in a professional studio environment
- Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue recordings
- Deliver realistic, human-sounding speech that feels unscripted and natural
- Follow light direction from session producers to vary tone, pacing, and delivery
- Bring your authentic South African English accent to every session
Who You Are
- A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with genuine experience in the craft
- A native or near-native South African English speaker with a natural, authentic accent
- Fluent in English with strong verbal communication skills
- Comfortable performing natural dialogue and conversational speech on cue
- Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction in a studio environment
- Currently based in South Africa
Nice to Have
- Acting or performance background
- Experience in broadcast, podcasting, audiobooks, or prior studio recording work
- Familiarity with dialogue-based or character-driven voice work
