About the Role
What if your fluency in Dutch and your understanding of Belgian professional culture could directly shape how AI evaluates candidates across Flanders and beyond? We're looking for Dutch language experts based in Brussels and across Belgium to review and improve AI-generated recruitment assessments — ensuring they are accurate, fair, and grounded in the realities of the Belgian job market.
Your work will involve reviewing AI outputs, auditing Dutch-language resumes and candidate data, and providing the kind of nuanced human judgement that AI systems cannot replicate alone. You'll help train these systems to understand Flemish Dutch and Belgian professional norms while strictly enforcing legal and ethical guardrails.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No tech background needed — just a deep command of Dutch, sound professional judgement, and a sharp eye for quality.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Review AI-generated assessments of job candidates against complex job descriptions and requirements within the Belgian and Flemish market
- Perform detailed Match Classifications (Match, Partial Match, No Match) based strictly on source evidence from Dutch-language resumes and LinkedIn profiles
- Enforce critical safety guardrails by identifying and blocking "Forbidden to Evaluate" criteria (e.g., protected characteristics, personality traits, and legal non-inference data)
- Conduct rigorous Explanation Quality Reviews to detect AI hallucinations, unsupported claims, or grammatical flaws in Dutch-language outputs
- Suggest clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate improvements to the AI's written tone and reasoning — with sensitivity to Flemish Dutch usage
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule (approx. 15–20 minutes per in-depth evaluation)
Who You Are
- Native or near-native fluency in Dutch — including Flemish Belgian Dutch (strictly required)
- Strong written communication skills in Dutch and English (for project guidelines)
- Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, methodical approach to evaluation and close reading
- Comfortable following dense, comprehensive rubrics with numerous complex edge cases
- Strong ethical awareness regarding legally sensitive hiring categories and workplace diversity under Belgian law
- Able to articulate clear reasoning behind your quality and matching judgements
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
Nice to Have
- Experience in Recruitment, HR, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations in Flanders or Brussels
- Knowledge of regional differences between Flemish Dutch and Netherlands Dutch
- Background in translation, localization, editing, QA, or data annotation
- Experience with quality assurance, research, or critical analysis
