About the Role
What if your sharp ears and attention to detail could directly improve how AI understands human speech? We're looking for Audio Transcription Specialists to convert real-world audio recordings into accurate, well-formatted text — helping train the next generation of AI speech and language models.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong listening skills and a commitment to accuracy. No professional transcription experience required.

What You'll Do
- Transcribe audio recordings into accurate written text following clear formatting guidelines
- Handle a variety of accents, speaking speeds, and audio quality conditions
- Apply consistent punctuation, formatting, and speaker labeling rules
- Flag unclear or inaudible segments and note speaker changes where needed
- Meet quality standards and turnaround targets for each batch of work
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Strong listener with sharp attention to detail
- Good typing speed and accuracy
- Patient and methodical when working through challenging audio
- Comfortable following detailed style and formatting guidelines
- Reliable and self-motivated in a remote work environment
- No prior transcription or AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with transcription software or audio playback tools
- Familiarity with different English accents or dialects
- Background in captioning, journalism, media, or administrative work
