About the Role
We're looking for economists with public policy experience to help shape how AI understands and communicates economic reasoning. Your expertise will directly influence the quality of AI-generated policy analysis — making a real-world impact on one of the most consequential technology frontiers of our time.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where you set your own schedule and contribute on your own terms.

What You'll Do
- Review and evaluate AI-generated public policy and applied economics content for accuracy, rigor, and real-world relevance
- Assess economic reasoning across areas such as regulation, welfare policy, fiscal policy, and public programs
- Identify logical errors, unsupported conclusions, or misleading framings in AI outputs
- Provide clear, structured written feedback to improve the quality of AI training data
- Apply your applied economics background to validate policy scenarios and analytical conclusions
- Work independently and asynchronously — no meetings required
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience working or teaching in public policy, applied economics, or a closely related field
- Strong grasp of policy analysis frameworks and economic tradeoffs
- Able to critically evaluate written economic arguments, recommendations, and models
- Skilled at providing detailed, constructive written feedback
- Self-directed and reliable — comfortable managing your own workload and deadlines
Nice to Have
- Graduate degree in Economics, Public Policy, or a related discipline
- Background in government agencies, think tanks, research institutions, or policy consulting
- Familiarity with AI systems or content evaluation workflows
