About the Role

We're looking for Visual Storytelling Prompt Writers to watch video clips and translate what they see into structured, vivid prompts — capturing everything from camera angles and lighting to mood, character, and narrative arc.
Your words become the blueprint AI uses to interpret and generate moving images. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with a passion for film, video, or visual media. No professional experience required — just a sharp eye, a love of storytelling, and the ability to put what you see into precise, evocative language.

What You'll Do
- Watch video clips and craft structured prompts that capture the essence of each scene
- Describe characters, settings, camera perspectives, lighting, and mood with clarity and precision
- Balance technical shot details with narrative context and emotional atmosphere
- Produce multiple prompt variants to cover different interpretations of the same scene
- Follow detailed style guides for wording, specificity, and point of view
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Strong writer with a natural ability to translate visuals into precise, evocative language
- Passionate about film, video production, cinematography, or visual storytelling
- Able to describe what's happening on screen without relying on dialogue or sound
- Detail-oriented and consistent when following prompt-writing guidelines
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- No professional filmmaking, writing, or AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Background in film studies, screenwriting, photography, or media production
- Experience with creative writing, content creation, or script analysis
- Familiarity with cinematography terms — shot types, angles, lighting styles, and composition
- Prior exposure to AI tools or prompt-writing workflows
