About the Role

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong research instincts and a sharp eye for accuracy. No specific academic background or prior AI experience required — just a methodical mind and a genuine commitment to quality.

What You'll Do
- Research topics online and verify AI-generated claims against reliable, authoritative sources
- Cross-reference AI outputs to identify factual errors, outdated information, and unsupported statements
- Flag inaccuracies and document findings clearly using structured evaluation formats
- Cover a diverse range of subjects — from science and history to culture, technology, and current events
- Rate the accuracy and reliability of AI outputs using provided rubrics
- Work independently on task-based assignments at your own pace and schedule
Who You Are
- Strong research skills — you know how to find credible sources and evaluate them critically
- Naturally skeptical and detail-oriented — you don't take claims at face value
- Clear and concise written communicator who can explain your reasoning
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- Comfortable navigating a broad range of topics and subject areas
- No prior AI, journalism, or research experience required
Nice to Have
- Background in research, journalism, academia, library science, or communications
- Experience with fact-checking, data analysis, or investigative work
