About the Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI speaks to millions of people around the world? We're looking for Voice Recording Specialists to provide natural, clear speech samples that help train the next generation of AI speech systems — making them sound more human, more natural, and more useful for everyone.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No voice acting experience or audio production background required — just a clear speaking voice, a reasonably quiet space, and a willingness to be recorded.

What You'll Do
- Record natural speech samples by reading provided scripts and responding to conversational prompts
- Vary your tone, pacing, and delivery style as directed to capture a range of expressive speech
- Ensure recordings are clean, clear, and free from background noise and distortion
- Complete metadata forms that describe and categorize each recording session
- Participate in both scripted reading sessions and open-ended conversational recordings
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Clear, natural speaking voice — no professional training needed
- Access to a quiet recording environment (a calm room at home works great)
- A microphone, headset, or smartphone capable of producing decent audio quality
- Comfortable reading aloud and being recorded
- Reliable and consistent when working independently
- No voice acting, audio engineering, or AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience in broadcasting, podcasting, teaching, customer service, or public speaking
- Access to a dedicated microphone or audio recording setup
- Familiarity with audio recording apps or software
- A distinct regional accent or vocal style — diversity of voice is genuinely valued
