About the Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI communicates with millions of Italian speakers around the world? We're looking for experienced Italian-speaking voice actors to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping next-generation AI systems sound more natural, expressive, and authentically human.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed — just a commanding vocal presence, native-level Italian fluency, and access to a professional recording setup.

Important: This role does not involve voice cloning of any kind.
What You'll Do
- Record clear, expressive Italian-language audio using a large diaphragm microphone (LDM), following provided scripts and prompts
- Evaluate AI-generated speech for natural flow, pronunciation accuracy, emotional expression, and overall quality
- Provide detailed, actionable feedback to help improve synthesized Italian voice outputs
- Review scripts and suggest adjustments that enhance clarity and ensure natural, authentic delivery
- Work independently and asynchronously — on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Experienced voice actor, narrator, audiobook reader, or voice-over professional
- Native or near-native fluency in Italian with a strong command of natural spoken delivery
- Access to a large diaphragm microphone (LDM) and a quiet, acoustically controlled recording space
- Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated performances across a range of tones and styles
- Sharp ear for nuance — you notice subtle differences in tone, rhythm, pronunciation, and emotional register
Nice to Have
- Experience in broadcast, commercial, e-learning, or animation voice work
- Familiarity with audio editing tools or DAW software
- Understanding of phonetics or speech quality evaluation
- Awareness of regional Italian dialects and speech variations
