This contract role is designed for engineers who have real side projects or independent work in progress and want to advance them while contributing to AI training — fully remote, on their own schedule.
What You'll Do
- Share a GitHub repository for a project you own and are actively working on
- Keep developing it in your own environment using an AI coding assistant in your terminal
- While you code, you'll occasionally be asked to choose the best of the responses the AI gives you
- We keep those preference answers; you keep everything you build
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on software engineering experience in any language or stack
- A substantial project of your own on GitHub (not a tutorial, template, or to-do app)
- Comfort working in the terminal and with Git
- Clear judgment about code quality, correctness, and good engineering trade-offs
