About the Role
We're building next-generation AI systems for aviation and autonomous flight — and we need people who actually understand what's being said on the radio.
This is not generic transcription work. This is a specialized, high-impact role for pilots, air traffic controllers, aviation students, and enthusiasts who can accurately capture the fast-paced, technical language of real-world ATC communications.
Your work will directly shape how AI systems understand aviation safety-critical communications.
- Organization: Alignerr (Powered by Labelbox)
- Type: Hourly / Task-Based Contract
- Location: Remote

- Correctly capture aviation terminology, abbreviations, and standard phraseology
- Complete task-based assignments on your own schedule
- Maintain quality and accuracy standards — precision is everything in this role

- Someone with a solid understanding of ICAO/FAA radio phraseology and callsign conventions
- Extremely detail-oriented and patient with audio work

You do not need to be a professional transcriptionist — but you do need to genuinely understand aviation communications.
Nice to Have
- Experience with LiveATC, PilotEdge, VATSIM, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with different ATC environments (TRACON, Center, Tower, Ground)
