This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone who shops online and can evaluate product information with a critical eye. No formal e-commerce or retail experience needed — just strong attention to detail and a systematic mindset.

What You'll Do

  • Review product listings for accuracy, completeness, and correct categorization
  • Evaluate AI-generated product descriptions and recommendations for quality and relevance
  • Tag and classify products using structured category systems and defined guidelines
  • Identify duplicate, misleading, or low-quality product entries
  • Provide clear, structured feedback to help improve AI-powered product search and discovery
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Familiar with online shopping platforms and how products are organized and presented
  • Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, systematic approach to categorization
  • Comfortable working with structured data, spreadsheets, or web-based tools
  • Strong written communication skills in English
  • Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
  • No prior e-commerce, retail, or AI experience required

Nice to Have

  • Background in retail, merchandising, data entry, or product management
  • Experience with quality assurance or data annotation
  • Familiarity with major e-commerce platforms as a frequent user or seller
