About the Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI communicates with millions of German speakers around the world? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists to record high-quality German audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping frontier AI systems sound more natural, expressive, and human.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed — just a trained voice, a quiet space, and a sharp ear for quality.

What You'll Do
- Record high-quality voice samples in German from provided scripts and prompts
- Evaluate AI-generated speech for naturalness, pronunciation, tone, and expressiveness
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to improve the quality of AI-generated audio
- Review and refine scripts to ensure they read naturally and are well-suited for vocal delivery
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or similar fields
- Native or near-native fluency in German with a strong command of natural spoken delivery
- Owner of a high-quality microphone with access to a quiet, controlled recording environment
- Able to deliver clear, expressive, and engaging performances consistently
- Detail-oriented when assessing pronunciation, pacing, tone, and clarity
- No prior AI or tech experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience across multiple voice styles — commercial, narrative, character, instructional
- Familiarity with audio editing tools or DAW software
- Background in linguistics, phonetics, or speech coaching
- Awareness of regional German accents and dialect variation
- Prior experience with AI audio evaluation or voice data projects
