About the Role

We're looking for Physics Masters graduates and students to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. Your deep understanding of physics will directly shape how AI reasons through complex scientific problems — from classical mechanics to advanced electromagnetism. This is your chance to work at the frontier of AI development, fully remote, on your own schedule.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design challenging, rigorous physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and more to test AI performance
  • Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with logically structured reasoning
  • Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy and quality of reasoning
  • Collaborate with researchers to refine and improve benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level physics topics
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing or holding a Masters degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced physics domains
  • Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and rigor
  • No prior AI experience required — your physics knowledge is what matters
