What You'll Do

  • Listen to audio recordings and transcribe speech into accurate, well-formatted written text
  • Handle a variety of accents, speech speeds, and audio quality conditions
  • Apply consistent formatting, punctuation, and speaker labeling conventions
  • Flag unclear or inaudible segments and note speaker changes with precision
  • Meet quality and turnaround targets for each batch of work
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • A sharp, focused listener with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with varied audio — accents, background noise, fast speech
  • Good typing speed and accuracy under sustained focus
  • Patient and methodical when dealing with challenging recordings
  • Able to follow detailed transcription guidelines consistently
  • No prior transcription or AI experience required

Nice to Have

  • Previous transcription, captioning, or subtitling experience
  • Familiarity with transcription tools or software
  • Experience working with diverse audio content across industries or topics
