About the Role
What if your passion for reading and your instinct for great writing could directly influence how AI tells stories, crafts essays, and creates poetry? We're looking for Creative Writing Evaluators to read AI-generated creative content and provide the literary feedback that helps AI write more like a human — and less like a machine.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role ideal for avid readers, aspiring writers, English graduates, and anyone who lives and breathes good storytelling. No published writing credits required — just a genuine feel for what makes writing work.

What You'll Do
- Read and evaluate AI-generated creative writing across genres — fiction, poetry, essays, scripts, and more
- Assess writing quality across dimensions including style, voice, tone, coherence, originality, and engagement
- Identify clichés, unnatural phrasing, logical inconsistencies, and structural weaknesses
- Provide clear, constructive written feedback that guides AI improvement
- Rate outputs using structured evaluation rubrics
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- A genuine love of reading and a strong instinct for what makes writing compelling
- Ability to articulate why something works — or doesn't — on the page
- Strong command of English grammar, style, and literary convention
- Comfortable working through varied genres and large volumes of text
- Detail-oriented and consistent in your evaluations
- No prior AI experience or publishing credits required
Nice to Have
- Background in English, creative writing, literature, journalism, or communications
- Experience with editing, copywriting, or content critique
- Familiarity with literary analysis or writing workshops
- Exposure to AI writing tools as an end user
