About the Role
Do you actively trade stocks, ETFs, crypto, or derivatives? Your real-world investing knowledge is exactly what we need. We're building AI systems that genuinely understand how retail investors think — and we need experienced traders to make that happen.
This is a fully remote contract role where you'll apply your hands-on market expertise to help train and evaluate frontier AI models focused on retail investing behavior. No finance degree required — just genuine, active trading experience and sharp analytical thinking.
What You'll Do
- Review and evaluate trading-related content, investor communications, and platform activity for accuracy and realism
- Label and categorize financial data with consistency, helping AI models better understand real investor behavior
- Apply your personal trading judgment to assess how AI reasons about equities, ETFs, crypto, and broader market dynamics
- Provide structured written feedback on AI outputs related to risk management, portfolio decisions, and trade execution
- Flag gaps or errors in how AI models interpret retail investor logic and market reasoning
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- An active retail investor or trader with hands-on experience in stocks, ETFs, crypto, or derivatives
- Familiar with major brokerage platforms such as Robinhood, Wealthsimple, Charles Schwab, Fidelity, eToro, Interactive Brokers, SoFi, or Webull
- Up-to-date on current market trends and able to speak to how real investors analyze opportunities
- Able to clearly explain your reasoning around risk, conviction, and trade execution in writing
- Detail-oriented and comfortable with structured, task-based annotation work
- Strong written communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience trading derivatives or more complex instruments
- Background in financial analysis, portfolio management, or fintech
- Familiarity with AI data labeling or evaluation workflows
