About the Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI communicates with millions of German speakers around the world? We're looking for experienced German-language voice actors to record professional audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping next-generation AI systems sound more natural, expressive, and human.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed — just a commanding German voice, a professional setup, and a sharp ear for quality.

What You'll Do
- Record high-quality German-language audio using a large diaphragm microphone, following provided scripts and creative prompts
- Evaluate AI-generated speech for naturalness, pronunciation accuracy, emotional expression, and overall flow
- Provide detailed, actionable feedback to improve synthesized voice outputs
- Review and suggest refinements to scripts to enhance clarity and ensure authentic-sounding delivery
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, or related performance-based audio work
- Native or near-native fluency in German with a strong command of pronunciation and intonation
- Owner of a professional-grade large diaphragm microphone and access to a quiet, acoustically controlled recording space
- Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated vocal performances consistently
- Naturally detail-oriented with a trained ear for tone, clarity, and nuance
Nice to Have
- Experience across multiple German regional accents or dialects
- Background in broadcast, theatre, film dubbing, or commercial voice work
- Familiarity with audio editing tools or DAW software
- Prior exposure to AI voice evaluation or speech technology projects
